Church Hurt and Spiritual Disillusionment

Church wounds can be a deeply painful and disorienting experience. Hurt within the church, unhealthy spiritual environments, betrayal, gossip, religious performance or feeling emotionally abandoned by people who claim to represent Christ can leave a person questioning trust, belonging, faith and even themselves.

You may feel disconnected from the church, conflicted about faith, exhausted by spiritual expectations or uncertain how to reconcile Biblical truth with painful relational experiences inside the body of Christ.

Counseling can provide a space to process spiritual hurt honestly without dismissing either emotional pain or truth. My goal is not shallow positivity or spiritual bypassing, but helping clients pursue greater clarity, integration, discernment and emotional stability.
